When D.R. Horton built his first home in Fort Worth, Texas, in 1978, he had a dream of building houses that American families could turn into homes. For the next 45 years, Americans across the country did just that, choosing to buy a D.R. Horton home more than any other builder since 2002.
In 2016, D.R. Horton built his first three-story garden-style apartment community in McKinney, Texas, opening the door to more Americans looking for a place to call home.
